Arrival
Welcome to the Hotel Thalmair. Your room will be available on arrival at noon.
Bar
The bar is open until 22:00pm. The offered beverages can be found in the menu.
Blanket
An additional blanket is available on request at the reception.
Breakfast
The breakfast is from 7:00am to 10:00am in the breakfast room (ground floor). You may help yourself as often as you want at our breakfast buffet, but please don’t take anything out.

We accept: American Express Card, Eurocard, Visa Card, JCB, EC-Card.
Closing card device
The closing card device is the output device for your Keycard if your arrival should be after 22:00pm. It is located at the right side of the main entrance. Please let us know if your arrival is after 22:00pm, the reception staff will give you your personal output Code for your Keycard.
Departure
We kindly ask you to checkout by 11:00am and to hand back your Keycard to the reception staff. In case of a departure before 7:00am, we ask you to pay the bill the day before departure. Of course there is the possibility to keep your luggage at a suitable place until departure.

Fax
For sending faxes, please contact the reception. Our fax service is available on demand at a charge of € 0,25 per page.
Fire / fire extinguishers
Please familiarize yourself to your own safety with the fire escape plan on your room. Fire extinguishers are located on each floor.
Hotel entrance
…is open from 7:00am to 22:00pm. After 22:00pm you can exit or enter the building via the night entrance with your Keycard.
Please take the Keycard with you, in order to be independent.
Hygiene Items
Have you forgotten something? Toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, etc. you can get at the front desk.
Information
…of all kind you can get at the front desk. For maps, public transport, etc. don’t hesitate to ask the staff.
Internet
You can get free internet access in your room. All you need is a data cable, which can be borrowed free of charges at the front desk if necessary. In our hotel lobby there is also wireless access to the free network “maxspot (FREE)“. Once you have connected to the network, open your browser and follow the instructions
of the “maxspot” portal. You can get high speed internet access for a small surcharge.
Invoice
We ask departing guests to pay their room/telephone/minibar bill directly after the breakfast on the day of departure. We accept cash payment, EC-Card, as well as the previously mentioned credit cards.
Keycard
Your Keycard opens your room, the night entrance and the sub garage entrance as well as the sauna on request. We ask you to hand out your Keycard to the reception staff on the day of departure.
Laundry
In each room you will find a laundry bag in the closet. You can bring your laundry to the reception and for a fee you can have your laundry back within 24 hours, washed and ironed. An iron is available, when needed at the front desk.
Luggage Service
On request, we can help you with your luggage, please contact the reception staff.
Newspapers / Magazines
Can be borrowed free of charge at the reception.
Parking
The use of our parking garage or parking in the yard is free of charge for hotel guests. The parking lots are located in the rear hotel grounds and the parking garage entrance is on the left side of the building. The gate for the garage can be opened with your Keycard. The garage in the basement of our house is easily accessible by elevator or by stairs.
Pets
…only in exceptional cases to bring. Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room.

Public Transportation
Nearby you can find the subway station Großhadern as well as several bus stops. At the front desk you can purchase day tickets for one or more persons.

Radio programs can be received via the TV set.
Instructions:
1. Press AV/Radio button.
2. Choose source with arrow keys up and down.
3. Confirm Radio with right arrow button.
4. To return to the TV, repeat the process.

Sauna
The sauna is located on the third floor on the roof terrace of the hotel. Our guests can book the sauna at the reception daily, the opening time of the sauna is 18:00pm – 22:00pm. The price for guests is € 8,00 incl. a sauna towel. For € 5,00 you can rent a bathrobe and for € 2,00 you can buy a pair of slippers.

Needle and thread are available on request at the reception.
Shoe polish
…can be found in every room in the closet.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the whole hotel building. For smoking on the rooms, we charge a cleaning fee of € 50,00. For smokers we offer an ashtray at the main entrance.
Telephone
The telephone in your room can be used for all outgoing and incoming calls. To call the room, dial: +49 89 741163-“room number.
Internal calls:
Lift the receiver – chose the room number you wish to call. (Reception: “9”). There is no charge for internal calls.
External calls:
Lift the receiver – press “Amtsleitung” – wait for the tone – dial. If the dial tone has short intervals instead of the usual dialing tone, it means that all lines are currently all engaged. Please be patient and try again later.
Telephone charges:
Your telephone calls are charged per seconds used. There is more information by the telephone in your room.
TV
In each room there is a flat screen TV with satellite connection and numerous international channels. A program overview can be found separately in your hotel folder. We kindly ask you not to change the preset settings. Please contact the reception if there are any problems. We kindly ask you, to set your TV on low volume, so that other guests are not disturbed.
Undergroundcar park
The entrance to the underground car park is to the left of the hotel. Hotel guests may use the garage free of charge. Hotel key cards give access to the garage. There is a lift and stairs which connect with the hotel.
Valuables
…can be deposited at the reception. The hotel assumes no liability for any valuables on the room.
Wake Service
You can program your own wake-up call on the telephone in your room:
Lift the receiver – press “Weckzeit ein” (alarm call) – enter a four-digit number – wait a moment – hang up.
Example: Wake-up call for 6.30am enter “0630”.
